1. Order Production
Every AcriCase product is custom-made to order. When you place an order, we begin crafting your display case specifically for your LEGO® set — laser-cut from premium UV-protected cast acrylic, assembled and quality-checked by hand in our workshop in Europe.
Standard production time: 2–5 business days.
Production begins within 48 hours of your order. During peak periods (holidays, new LEGO® launches, or high demand), production may take up to 14 business days in exceptional cases. We are a small, hands-on team — every case is handmade with care.
If your order requires extended production time, we will notify you by email with an updated timeline. We believe in full transparency — you will always know the status of your order.
Production begins within 48 hours
Once you place your order, our team schedules your case for laser cutting. Production officially begins within 48 hours. This detail is important for our cancellation policy — see Section 4 below.
2. Shipping & Delivery
We ship all orders via GLS — one of Europe's leading parcel carriers. Every shipment includes a tracking number, sent to your email as soon as your package leaves our workshop.
Estimated delivery times
Total delivery time = production time + transit time. Below are estimated GLS transit times after your order has been dispatched. Please note that actual delivery may take up to 15 business days from dispatch depending on your location and local carrier conditions.

These are estimates based on standard GLS transit times. During holiday seasons or carrier disruptions, delivery may take longer. We always recommend allowing up to 15 business days for delivery after dispatch.

AcriCase is proudly made in Europe and ships from within the European Union. This means zero customs duties, zero import taxes, and zero surprise fees at delivery for all EU customers. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay — nothing more.
Packaging
Every order is carefully packaged to ensure your display case arrives in perfect condition. Acrylic panels are individually wrapped in protective film and cushioned with bubble wrap. Screws, LEGO® studs, and assembly hardware are packed separately. Assembly instructions are included in every box.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We take great care in packaging, but transit damage can occasionally occur. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we will make it right — at no cost to you.
Damaged items
If one or more parts of your display case arrive damaged, we will send you free replacement parts for the damaged components. If the entire product is damaged beyond use, we will ship a complete replacement or issue a full refund — your choice.
To report damage, please follow these steps:
- Email us at info@acricase.com within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Include your order number in the subject line or message body.
- Describe which parts are damaged — please specify: baseplate 1, baseplate 2, front panel, back panel, side panel(s), or top panel.
- Attach clear photographs of the damaged parts and the packaging. This is mandatory — we cannot process damage claims without photographic evidence.
Important: Damage claims submitted without photographs cannot be approved. Please ensure your photos clearly show the damaged components and the condition of the outer packaging.
Incorrect items
If you receive the wrong product or an incorrect configuration, contact us at info@acricase.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs. We will arrange the correct product to be sent to you free of charge. If a return of the incorrect item is needed, we cover all return shipping costs.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
All AcriCase products are custom-made to order — each display case is laser-cut to the exact dimensions of a specific LEGO® set. Because of this, our cancellation and refund policy reflects the nature of bespoke manufacturing.
In accordance with Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalised. All AcriCase products are custom-manufactured for a specific LEGO® set and cannot be resold or repurposed. Therefore, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to our products.
However, AcriCase voluntarily offers cancellation and return options that go beyond the legal minimum — because we stand behind our products.
Cancellation within 48 hours — full refund
If you cancel your order within 48 hours of placing it and production has not yet started, you are entitled to a 100% refund. Simply email us at info@acricase.com with your order number and a request to cancel.
Cancellation after 48 hours — 50% refund
After 48 hours, production of your custom display case has officially begun. Because the materials have been cut to your specific order and cannot be reused, a full refund is no longer possible. However, as a courtesy, we offer a 50% refund on the order total if you cancel after production has started.
Under EU law (Article 16(c), Directive 2011/83/EU), we are not legally obligated to provide any refund once production of custom-made goods has begun. The 50% refund is offered voluntarily as a gesture of good faith.

5. Returns
Although our products are custom-made and exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal, we voluntarily accept returns under the following conditions:
- Time limit: You must initiate your return within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Condition: The product must be in its original, undamaged, and complete condition — all panels, baseplates, screws, studs, and hardware must be included.
- Reason required: Please include a brief explanation of your reason for returning.
- Return shipping: The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
- Refund amount: 50% of the order total, issued after we receive and inspect the returned product.
- Refund method: Refunds are processed via the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the return.
To initiate a return, email info@acricase.com with your order number and the reason for your return. We will provide you with the return shipping address and instructions.
Please note: Refunds are only issued after we have received the returned product and confirmed that all components are undamaged and complete. Returns with missing or damaged parts may be subject to a reduced refund or may not qualify for a refund.
6. Important Information
Delivery delays
During peak seasons — such as holidays, Black Friday, or major LEGO® launches — delivery times may be longer than usual. In some cases, shipping may take an additional 5–14 business days beyond standard estimates. If your order is affected by a delay, we will notify you by email with an updated timeline. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Risk during transit
The risk of damage or loss during shipping rests with us until the goods are physically delivered to you. If your package is lost or damaged by the carrier, it is our responsibility — not yours. Simply contact us and we will resolve it.
